{weather} A drought has been brought down on Sorrento. The snow that had landed before is completely gone, replaced with browning grass and always sunny skies. The temperatures are high for the season, more like summer than like winter. Worry is flooding through each wolf, each pack, and the coolest places are in the disappearing ocean and the melting snow on the mountain-- if anyone can get that high.
The days are getting hotter, sun boring into the ground and each wolf's back. The temperatures are around fifty to sixty degrees; much, much higher than they should be in winter. Had any of these wolves known what they had in store for them, they would have accepted their fates in the summer and let Cadeyrn and his pack bring them to hell before the winter ever could.

You have to include basic stuff on this-- say who their family was, what happened, and any sharp points in their history. However, you can do this bullet style c: Cha <3

10.31.09// Happy Halloween ;D It's been a long time since there was an announcement o-o I'll try to update this more often. I'm really sorry I haven't been posting ( or updating anything, such as OTM's ), but I've had a lot of stress going on in my life. There will be an activity check beginning tomorrow. The form will be the same as the last one, so just copy your old one and add in any updates. I'm going to get this site active once again, so we're all RPing and everything is updated. I'm also going to be a bit stricter on biographies. There will be threads coming up soon-- instead of the staff picking them, members will pick the OTM's by PMing me their votes. For the time of the activity check and a couple days after, you will not be able to make a character. So, if you have one that is incomplete, either remove it and PM it to yourself or something or finish it before the activity check is posted. There is going to be a new plot coming up soon, which will also be members' choice. Due to the fact that I haven't been posting and I know a lot of characters have been a bit inactive, there will be a third board in the character creation area for frozen characters. There will be more information on that later.
As soon as the activity check is over, there will be a lot of changes. First, all those threads mentioned above ( as well as some others ) will be made. After that, I'm going to be adding in a ton of new codes. Next would be the skin, new mascot, and probably more boards. At some point the site is likely to go into MM for, at most, two days, but that doesn't mean that you can become inactive. The rules will also be edited, and I'm probably going to begin forcing people to make different accounts for each character so they can be sorted into groups. Please try to PM me all the links to threads that you don't want archived. Sooner or later, there will be auditions for spots that are opened, bans will be placed, and other such things will be happening. Just prepare yourself for major changes here. I may already start working on the codes, so don't be alarmed if the site looks screwed up.

A small swirling light appeared on the edge of the mountain that overlooked the clearing. out of the portal came a wolf with black fur and tentacle shaped markings on his back. He was shot out of the portal and began tumbling the mountain. "What?! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! *!#$ @$%# *#&^ ^#$% @%#!!!!!!!!!!!!! He shouted as he hit ledges on his way down. Finally he hit the ground of the clearing and created a large cloud of dust upon contact. *cough cough* ohh....son of a star that hurt! He slowly got up as his cuts and stars were rapidly healing. "hmph...what a nice welcome. Where the hell am I anyways?". Decaylooked around and saw for the first time in his life....real trees. Carefully sniffing them he memorized their wood-ish scent. He also foun a number of animals of which he had never seen before. This was all so different to him. A bluelight eminated from his belly as a gew appeared there and flew up in front of Decay. "What a shame, to have never seen such beautiful things".. Decay snorted at the blue emerald. "Shut up twitty, I don't need your opinion!. The emerald bumped him on the head. "I told you its twilly! And be more respectful! I outrank you!". "Just because you're the only Chaos Emerald that can speak, you think your the best?. Decay walked over to a patch of dirt and sniffed it. recoiling once he rocognized the smell. "No...I dont think that. I told you before you and I have the same frequency, so we can share our thoughts...well Im not even supposed to be 'alive' so...oh what is it now?. Decay looked around cautiously and growled. Only once had he smelled this before. "Blood... Be on gaurd...there was a fight here...many of them...somene else is here as well... Show yourselves!!"

A sharp cuss rang out from nearby, though it was muffled. Kiba winced from a large cut on her side. Damn...! She thought, letting out a irritated breath as she looked down at the crimson staining her black coat. The blood quickly froze, turning an unusual red-purple as it froze over to keep the blood in.
She took in a breath, glancing back towards the strange wolf as she hid behind the group of brush and tree. She didn't understand how a wolf just... popped out of nowhere like that! She flicked her tail and slowly limped - it wasn't a limp, but more of an awkward walk - into the wolf's view.
Icy-blue eyes looking the brute over, she cleared her throat. She kept her ears back and her tail high. "I'm sorry if I sound rude, but... What do you want?" She asked, icicles dripping off of her words. Not that it was meant to sound intimidating. Kiba automatically sounded angry... She swallowed, flicking her tail.

Decay studied this strange animal. It sent chills through his body. It felt as though he were surrounded by ice. "You don't look like any dog I've ever seen...just who the heck are you? And where am I?". Decay wasn't too thrilled about being thrown down a mountain, and he didn't like the tone of this....thing. " Be more polite you oversized furball! Please excuse my friend, we aren't used to traveling. Allow me to introduce ourselves. My name is Twilly, one of 7 Chaos Emeralds. Thanks to this idiot's recklessness I became animate. His name is Decay. Not the best companion...but I've managed to survive.". Decay growled at Twilly, not at all pleased about him giving out that information. "Fine...can you please tell me who the hell you are and where I am?". Decay wasn't sure if this female was friend or foe. If it came to a fight Decay wasn't sure if her powers outmatched his. This was all confusing to Decay. It was such a big change from the alleyways to the "outdoors". Even more different from the labs. Decay cleared his mind instantly. He was NOT going to have thoughts of THERE. That was gone and past. Focusing back on the female he studied her, trying to determine weak points, in case it come to a fight.

Shadow crept forward, drawn by the sound of voices, but remained hidden behind a outcropping of rock. It had been so long since she had encountered another wolf that she had become weary of them, the old paranoia back. She was reluctant to show herself just yet, but apparently one of the wolves had come through a portal of some sort, and this intrigued her. And a talking emerald, what was this? In all her travels she had never heard of such things. Wolves popping out of holes in the air and talking gem stones. And this icy wolf seemed interesting to say the least. And had apparently been in a fight recently, judging by her back wound. Shadow took all this in stealing peaks around the rock she hid behind, still unsure if she should come out, or turn and run.

Decay turned around and looked at the rock with an expression that changed from curious, to amused. Over the years Decay had developed an amazing sense of hearing. he could hear a heartbeat 100ft away. "There's no sense in hiding, show yourself." Decay said, trying not to sound too threatening. Decay knew that the only way that was going to get any information was if he acted a bit nicer, whether he liked it or not. Plus, this newcomer didn't seem to be a threat. Plus...Decay wouldn't mind if he made a few friends along the way. It would surely help him stay alive...for Decay had street smarts, not camping smarts. But Decay was never really good with words, how would he convince the female to help him out. Decay wasn't known to be one to ask for help, but he wasn't ignorant. He waited for a response.

Kiba blinked and looked past him, pricking her ears. "I didn't hear anything." She said, narrowing her eyes, a bit curious. "Hello?" She called out, lowering her head and flicking her tail as she stepped forward to Decay's side. Her icy eyes flowed over the trees, but she didn't see anything. The wind was against her, and she couldn't smell anything to that side of her. She blinked again and pulled her head up, straining to listen. Then she heard it. A small, hardly audible sound like butterfly wings against glass. There was a wolf there!

Shadow peered out from behind the rock, then slowly stepped out into the open. She was not sure how the wolf had heard her, but was not surprised. Nothing was as it seemed around here. And besides, the wolf had come out of the air, who knew what else he could do? "Hello, I am Shadow" Her pale eyes passed over the two wolves, taking in their appearance. She cocked her head to the side, ears forward, "Who are you?" Her curiosity sometimes got the best of her, and she hoped she wasn't being rude, but, well, she was curious.

Interesting name." he flicked his tail angrily now. " So can any of you tell me where I am...because I would REALLY like some answers right about now" He said in an irritated tone. Kiba watched Shadow, icy blue eyes freezing. She registered Decay's voice and flicked one ear back, snapped her hackles back to him. This was strange. "You are in Sorrento." she said slowly, shifting her paws. The ice on her back and side crackled like two glaciers of snow colliding. "Territories of elemental wolves are all over here." She explained slowly. She took in a large breath. "I am Kiba, warrior of the Nahal pack near the river." She told him. Her eyes flashed curiously. "What was that ... portal ... you fell out of?" She questioned. "And what is that gem thing on your chest that talks? Twilly, was it?"

Decay sighed. He wished Twilly hadn't said anything, but he knew that he would have told them eventually. "It's called S.T.R.o.K.E. Space Time Rift of Kenetic Energy. It can transport you to any place at any given point of time. It connect worlds that normally would have not been any NEAR each other. In other words, I come from a different planet.". He thought for a moment and then said. "or perhaps not... Anyhow this world is quite different than mine in the sense that its a lot more.....beautiful. Wait...did you say Wolves? I haven't seen another wolf in years! Hahaha! ahhh.....yes....Anyhow you say this is Sorrento? Where have I heard that name before....? Decay Looked around a bit, trying to spark any memory. Was it an old pack member? A food? This was going to bother him for quite some time. Suddenly the blue emerald began to glow. "calm down, calm down I'm getting to you. Yes his name is Twilly. He isn't supposed to have a name, nor should he be alive, but I gave him life. He is one of 7 Chaos Emeralds. They grant power to whoever holds them by 14.3%. When all 7 are together...well I don't know. Apparently any attack used directly against the emerald will activate its defense system and reverse the effects of the attack so that it can absorb it. Since I have the power to make things rot, Twilly here reversed it and ended up gaining life. The end.". he looked at Shadow and Kiba. "well...now that we know each other...where can we get some food?".

Shadow gave a confused look. These words, she had no idea what they meant. Kinetic, space time rift, what was all this? And the ability to make things rot, well that was interesting. Where was he from anyway if he had not seen another wolf in years? "Well, we hunt for it." She wanted to add a duh, but thought that might be a little mean. She was not going to offend by being sarcastic. These wolves might be the closest she comes to to friends. "Where did you get food before coming here?"

"Trash". One simple word. Decay had hunted before, but not in the real world. Virtual Reality had its drawback, edible prey being one of them. Of course these wolves would have no idea what that was about, knowing how they never even knew of worlds beyond their own. "Times were tough, you gotta to do what you gotta do to survive. Of course I've rats and mice. Some days I get a cat." He smiled at this thought, remembering the taste. "well, I'm not gona stand around all day so...Cya!" He turned around and started walking towards the woods, and after a few steps he looked back and said. "uh....You guys can come if you know...if you want to. Kiba snorted slightly. "Right, I wish I could, but I have to get back to my pack." She said, shifting her weight to one side, making the ice on her side slosh slightly. She trotted towards where she had came - no, it wasn't really a trot, it was more of a glide. Like a ghost. She glanced back once more. Strange... She thought and turned back ahead, shaking her head slowly as she laid her ears back.
